Holidays like Valentine’s Day always seem to sneak up on me. They’re not “big” like Christmas (although somehow Christmas always manages to sneak up on me too!) but they’re fun in their own right.
While not everyone is big on Valentine’s Day gifts, some like to go all out. And, as the day is all about love and showing you care, nothing says “I’m thinking about you” quite like a handmade gift.
I’ve pulled together a list of five fun, simple, and inexpensive gifts you can try to make for your Valentine this year. Or, if you’re really ambitious, you can help your kids make them for classmates. If you’re a teacher, some of them are small enough that you could make them for your students!
Take a look and let me know what you think!
Charm Bracelet
Charm bracelets are lots of fun, and oh-so easy to make! You just need some jewelry chain (or a ready-made bracelet!), some polymer clay, and a few jewelry findings to make your very own valentines’s themed charm bracelet. It’s a perfect heartfelt gift!

Heart Shaped Coin Purse
Loose change? No more! If you’ve ever had to dig around in the bottom of your purse or bag to try and find the change you know you dumped in there the other day, you understand the frustration. Give your valentine the gift of proper coin storage with an adorable heart-shaped coin purse.

Marbled Heart Earrings
These quick, easy, and incredibly customizable earrings can be made with any colors, and in any shape. I’m opting for pinks and hearts to make something valentines themed, but the sky is the limit

Foiled Heart Bookmark

Valentine Themed Tic Tac Toe
Games on the go are lots of fun—and luckily, easy to make! This cute Valentine’s tic tac toe game is great for anyone who enjoys playing the classic game. It’s inexpensive to make, comes together quickly, and is both fun and practical. Keep it in the car to entertain the kids, in your purse to have something fun to do while waiting for food at a restaurant, or make them for classmates or students instead of handing out chocolate. You can’t go wrong!
