I LOVE spring. Where I live, the winter is long and brutal, which makes the arrival of spring that much sweeter.

There is something so life-affirming about sunny days, flowers, and baby animals (ducklings, kittens, and baby bunnies galore!).

The celebration of spring goes back thousands of years. This should come as no surprise – surviving the winter is no easy task, especially in the pre-modern world. (I am constantly in awe that anyone survived in Canada before the invention of the heater, for example. I’d be useless if my heat went out!)

In this post, I’m highlighting 15 DIY projects that are perfect for celebrating the end of winter. In particular, we’re talking about the Spring Equinox and Ostara. Ostara is a pagan holiday celebrating themes of balance, rebirth, and renewal. Symbols of the holiday include bunnies, fairies, eggs, flowers, and more.

Of course, Spring Equinox and Ostara DIYs are spring DIYs, which means most of them are suitable for spring celebrations more generally. This list includes some great DIYs that would be perfect for Easter too!

And now, without further ado, let’s get to the list!
